Frequently asked questions
Eligibility, enrolment, assessment, certification and everything in between. If your question is not here, our advisors will answer it directly.
Eligibility and enrolment
Our programs are open to MBBS graduates and above holding a valid medical council registration. This includes MD, MS and DNB postgraduates, and Foreign Medical Graduates who have qualified through the FMGE.
We do not accept applications from AYUSH or BDS graduates, or from candidates who have not completed MBBS. Eligibility is verified before enrolment is confirmed.
Visit the program page and begin the enrolment process, then follow the instructions to complete payment and secure your seat. Alternatively, reach our support team at support@globalmedacademy.com and we will take you through it.
We offer a free cancellation policy allowing a full refund within 7 days of enrolment if you are not satisfied with the course curriculum or content. Refunds are not permitted after this 7-day period has elapsed.
Learning and delivery
GlobalMedAcademy provides a flexible learning experience built on self-paced modules. To reach the course materials, log in to our Learning Management System. Once logged in you will be guided through the process and given access to the relevant resources, assessments and your program schedule.
No. Every program is delivered entirely online and is self-paced from start to finish. There is no offline attendance requirement at any stage, and all assessments are completed through the Learning Management System.
Our courses run on Windows 7 or above and macOS 10.15 or above, using any web browser, with a minimum of 1 GB RAM. For best performance we recommend a connection of at least 10 Mbps and 2 GB of RAM.
Assessment and certification
- A flexible online quiz is conducted after each module, helping you self-evaluate and improve.
- A flexible online examination follows each course. To pass, you must achieve a minimum score of 50%, ensuring a satisfactory level of understanding and proficiency in the subject matter.
- Fellowship students must complete all quizzes and online examinations before sitting the final viva.
- The logbook must be completed in full and submitted for review before final certification is issued.
- Three attempts are allowed for each online exam without charge. Additional attempts incur examination fees.
On completion, an electronic certificate with a unique enrolment ID is sent to your registered email address within 24 hours. If requested, we can also send a framed certificate to a physical address.
Certificates can be checked at any time through our certificate verification page.
GlobalMedAcademy provides multiple accreditations for each course, clearly listed in the brochure. Note that we do not offer certificates that allow healthcare professionals to claim specialist titles such as diabetologist or cardiologist.
Our programs provide clinical knowledge and insight into global trends in specific topics, enhancing the quality of patient care. They are not a substitute for formal medical education but support continuous learning for healthcare professionals. Please be aware that courses offered by e-learning platforms are not recognised by the National Medical Commission or any state medical council.
After the program
GlobalMedAcademy does not offer a placement guarantee — our programs are academic and certification-based. A career guidance session is included in every fellowship to help you make informed decisions about your next step.
Enter the unique enrolment ID printed on the certificate into our verification page. Employers and institutions can use the same page. If the ID cannot be found, contact support@globalmedacademy.com and we will confirm it manually.
All course material is self-paced and available through the Learning Management System for the duration of your program. Modules are released in sequence, and you can revisit any completed module at any time.
